Research Group & Research Interests

Headache and Neurological Pain Research Group (VHIR)

Our research group focuses on the study of the pathophysiology of migraine and other primary headaches through preclinical, translational and clinical research.

Migraine will allow us to define the adaptive, sensory/cognitive functions of the brain, through genetics, epigenetics, neurophysiology, neuromolecular and neuroanatomical information with interest in developing clinical therapeutic solutions, with the aim of affecting suffering and increasing well-being.
